Yves Rocher Creator of Botanical Beauty

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it is said. The beauty of skin and hair.  Coarse, fine, brittle, shiny, smooth, thin, thick hair… and the range of beauty in colour nuances goes on and on… to infinity!

It is true that certain types of hair are more common to specific nationalities, true for both men & women. People who are Black are known for their curly, coarse and usually very thick head hair, and often lots of it!  However, it is also common for this race to have much sparser body hair than others, such as many Caucasian nationalities. Within the Caucasian race there are huge variances in hair possibilites. Often, Mediterranean peoples tend to have thick, gorgeous, flowing locks, which unfortunately for them often translates into greater densities of body hair as well, most often seen by them as undesirable . :(    And the Asian people, well, they tend to have very dark brown to black hair, very thick on the head, and hard to see elsewhere on the body! It is true that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, color, and textures and the Creator evidently has no exhaustion in the repertoire of possibilities! Surprises happen all the time and hair is certainly no exception.
